You gotta love this technological age... just got off the phone with the business developing consultant.
Brilliant man, who is currently in Zurich working on opening his own bank. $2. a minute, worth every penny of our hour conversation about the studio project's next steps. The positive direction and creativity this studio is infused with is inspiring.
Did I mention I've never met David (the consultant), Not Yet, he lives on the Big Island of Hawaii :-) Emails and phone calls make it seem like I've known him forever... Thats the beauty of technology, it connects us to everything and every body we could ever need or want to meet. By the way, Thanks Kira, now I'm hooked on Channel Yoga and YouTubes!! Watching Koreans doing backbends onto their couches and seeing Krishnamacharya practicing in black&white. Like I didn't spend enough time on this computer and now I'm writing about :-P
Thank you WorldWideWeb, I now don't need to wait for the post office to open in the morning to buy a 2cent stamp (remember the increase?!) to send David the Excel file... its already in Zurich NOW or I mean TOMORROW, though its already TODAY there :-) Gotta Love it!

Today was good
Ok... I just watched the video for Matisyahu's song "king without a crown" for the third time.
Thats were I got the title for my blogs...
I like the energy and the unexpected delivery man of such beautiful verses :-)
"i give myself to you from the essence of my being,
and i sing to my God, songs of love and healing"
So... I sent out an email last night to the contact list, requesting testimonies from yoga students waiting for the new studio to open. An idea for creating proof of an existing clientele I developed to help the property owners realize that there is a great demand for the yoga center. Having 100+ letters for them to see should help the studio's chances of obtaining a lease.
It is humbling to see the students' comments of their experiences with yoga. Also enlightening to hear of the deeper growth and changes that occur... beyond the obvious physical ones. That is why i will always be a humble, supportive assistant in this yoga lifestyle pursuit... a king without a crown. The Ego may accept one, but the Heart will always shine the truth.

The Location
OK, so I'm still working on making this studio happen.
What a journey, I thought i would have found a Spot sooner, but I now have found THE best Spot!
I only have to make them see (the owners) that i am for real... this studio is a reality and NEEDED by many :-)
I checked the building out tonight... the new elevator is installed and they are finishing up the outside remodelling... super cool!!
I am no longer afraid of the what ifs?? Was I really ever afraid??? I do like things to kinda force me to act sometimes, but this project calls for me to be proactive and can't let doubt fear, etc... have any of my juice.
OK, my mission this week is to secure more $ and more testimonies (from students) to show the owners that there are real live clients waiting!!
I am ready for this, I have been preparing for this, and I NOW ACCEPT IT!!!
thanks for witnessing me ;-)

Timeless Man
So i was minding my business or really.. the thoughts in my head.
i like to ride and to spin mantras... recipes of blessing and creating :-)
So i run into a very old friend... he actually is in his forties and i see him out of the corner of my eye. I have a knack for that... seeing, being aware... noticing, kinda blows me away. Most times I go unnoticed, which is a blessing if i want alone time, but this occation i turn back and say hi. He went to my grammer school and married a friend's sister, a very nice person,
The discussion was great, reflecting on family... etc...
But its interesting when "catching up", because to share my journey is like the wildest adventure i could ever imagine. Time stands still, but i have lived so much and have so much more to live. Of course the talk always comes to marriage and children... both goals of mine, but the kind that i will not force. The art of allowing has not brought them forward yet...
It makes me feel timeless... all the places I've been and people I've meet, in such a short time! And there is so much more to experience... i'm blessed and willing to "hang on" for the more adventures that lie ahead.
